Fazar Roma Agung Wibisono
I am Fazar Roma Agung Wibisono, painter from Bandung, Indonesia. I studied fine arts at the fine arts & design high school and then at the University of Fine Arts and Design. After graduation, I worked for 7 years at an art gallery in Yogyakarta, Indonesia as a painting artist. Now I am working and continuing my career as a freelance painter.
Initially, I was working on paper and canvas using watercolors, oil paints and acrylics. I then started painting with other media from used materials, such as used skateboard decks, milk cartons and other used materials, digital art and sometimes working on wall murals. In my practice, I use a theme or series as a reference (it makes it easier for me to focus on each of my pieces), working in surrealism, cartoons, lowbrow art, symbolic and semi-realistic techniques.
Bioluminescence or the fluorescent light that exists in firefly insects (this light is produced by the chemicals inside their body). This light appears when this insect begins in the final stages of its life, or as a means to signal mates. This fluorescent light is also found in mushroom and deep-sea biotactic animals and jellyfish.
